A message from our CEO:
At Redbird, we believe healthcare should be convenient to access – whether you’re at the hospital, in your community pharmacy, or at home. That’s why every Redbird patient controls their own personal health record. And you can access it at any of our 400 partner pharmacies (if you choose to grant the pharmacy access), via the SMS results sent to you every time you get a test done, or through our free Redbird Health Passport at app.redbird.co – the richest way to access, visualize, and update your personal health record. In fact, our obsession with convenience is why we designed the Health Passport to be a progressive web app – no need to download a large file via an app store; just go to app.redbird.co and your health record is there waiting for you.
But our obsession with convenience didn’t stop there. Having a personal health record is only convenient if you can reliably access it. And while it doesn’t take much data to access Redbird’s Health Passport, we couldn’t help but think how much better it would be if it didn’t take any data. That’s why we’re very excited to announce that starting immediately anyone on MTN can access Redbird’s apps completely free of charge. That means it won’t use up the data you have, and even if you run out of data, Redbird will keep working for you. Redbird’s Health Passport has always been and continues to be free to use, and now is free to access too.
Rest assured that Redbird won’t stop innovating until we’ve succeeded in creating the most convenient, high-quality health monitoring system in the world, right here in Ghana.
And for anyone using Vodafone, AirTel/Tigo, or others unfortunately the free access is limited to MTN right now. But rest assured that we’re looking into the possibility of replicating this with other providers as well. In the meantime, we’ll continue to keep our software lean, so it runs fast and doesn’t drain your data, just like you’ve come to expect from Redbird.
